I was a little lad then, peering through the glass panes, eyeing the gadgets available for sale in the shopping lanes of Dubai. A Casio wrist watch, Sony Walkman, Nintendo Switch pocket video game and a pair of binoculars. My parents bought every single thing I asked for and it’s still locked up in my cabinet. Now 25 years down the memory lane, I see myself working in Middle East. I can buy bigger things now. But not better things. Only bigger. Those were the things that continue to fascinate me till date.
